As we all know, Valentine’s Day is less than a month away.  I wanted to share a non-traditional Valentine’s card or it could be a card for any occasion. I used the Forever & Always Bundle featuring the Always Dies and the Forever & Always stamp set paired with the gorgeous Love You Always Specialty Designer Paper and the Love You Always Foil Sheets.

The Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Love You Always Foil Sheets come in an assortment of Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride and Rococo Rose.  Don’t you just LOVE the die that cuts out the word “Love” paired with the stamped sentiment?

Stampin' Up!, Always in My Heart Bundle, Stampin' Studio

Measurements: 

  • Sahara Sand: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2”,     3-1/2” x 4-3/4”,    2-1/4” x 2-1/4”
  • Love You Always Foil Sheets: 1-3/4” x 4-1/2”,     2-1/2” x 2-1/2”,    2-1/4” x 1-3/4”
  • Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper: 1-1/2” x 4-1/4”,    ½” x 1-1/2”

Instructions:

  • Fold large Sahara Sand piece in half for card base and attach the 3-1/2” x 4-3/4” piece to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Attach the larger piece of Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper to the larger Love You Always Foil piece, then attach these to the card front with Stampin’ Seal.
  • Stamp the sentiment from Always & Forever with Sahara Sand Ink on the smallest Sahara Sand piece.
  • Die-cut “Love” from the smallest Foil Sheet using the Always Dies and attach to stamped piece with Mini Glue Dots then attach this piece to the 2-1/2” x 2-1/2” foil piece using Seal
  • Attached stamped layers to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Snip a notch in the end of the small Love You Always DSP to make a banner and tuck it under the stamped layers and secure with Seal.

Darling Donkeys Birthday

With the start of 2021, I started a new job and it’s taken a little time to get in the swing of a new daily routine.  The job is going great and I’m back to posting hear and sharing my creativity with you.  Thanks for waiting for me to return!  Todays adorable card is a Darling Donkeys Birthday card.  The Darling Donkeys stamp set is one of the 7 Sale-a-bration products you can get for FREE with an order of $50.  There are 2 more Sale-a-bration items that can be yours with a $100 order.

I love the look of this card with the Rainbow Glimmer Paper.  It ads a festive touch  to the background and balloons.  The Darling Donkeys stamp set is an 8 piece set that features three adorable donkeys and cute sentiments that work well for many occasions.

Measurements: 

  • Magenta Madness: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4” and 3” x 3” for circle die cut
  • Whisper White: 4” x 5-1/4”and 2-3/4” x 2-3/4” for circle die cut
  • Mango Melody: 3-1/2” x 3/8”
  • Rainbow Glimmer Paper: 2” x 5” and 1-1/2” x 4” for balloons

 Instructions:

  • Fold card base in half on score line and attach larger Whisper White layer to front of card with Stampin’ Seal Adhesive.
  • Attach Rainbow Glimmer Paper to right side of card front as shown
  • Stamp “donkey” on smaller Whisper White and cut out with the 4th largest circle from the Layering Circles Dies. Color Donkey with Light & Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.
  • Cut 3rd largest circle from the Layering Circles Dies from the Magenta Madness and attach donkey image to Magenta Madness Circle, then attach to card front with Seal.
  • Stamp “Hee Haw” with Memento Ink on the Glimmer Paper.
  • Punch 3 balloons from the Rainbow Glimmer Paper using the Balloon Bouquet Punch and attach to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Draw balloon strings from the balloons to the donkey’s tail with Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.
  • Stamp “It’s your birthday with Memento Ink on the strip of Mango Melody and cut a notch in the left end to make a banner, then attach to the card with Dimensionals.
  • Finish the card by attaching 3 Magenta Madness Enamel Dots to the banner.
