I started out by creating a “frame” on the card by cutting a rectangle from the center of the card front.  I did this with the Stitched Rectangle Dies (3rd larges die).  Next I used the Scripty Embossing Folder to add texture to the Blushing Bride card stock which I then attached to the inside flap of the card.

For the bouquet of tulips, I used the masking Technique.  I first stamped the three tulips on a piece of Whisper White cardstock in Blushing Bride ink and then again on a post it note.  After cutting out the Post-it Note tulips, I positioned them directly over the tulips on the Whisper White cardstock making sure none of the original tulips were visible.  The stems and leaves were stamped with Soft Sea Foam over the Post-it Note Tulips.  Once the stamping was complete, I removed the Post-it Note Tulips.  This revealed the appearance of the large flower stems and leave being behind the the smaller ones.  I then did some fussy cutting around the tulips and stems with my Paper Snips and attached them to the card front with Stampin’ Dimenstionals.

The sentiment from Timeless Tulips was stamped in Blushing Bride on the strip of Whisper White and the end was notched to create a banner which was also attached with Dimensionals.  The final touch is the Crinkle Ribbon bow.  This ribbon comes in Whisper White, so I used my dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Marker to change the color of the ribbon the match the card.
