Paper Pumpkin Christmas Kit

This lovely card is straight from the November Paper Pumpkin Kit and was handmade for me from fellow demonstrator Peggy Thiel.  What’s that, you don’t know what a Paper Pumpkin Kit is?

Stampin' Up! November 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Stampin' Studio

Paper Pumpkin is a Monthly Subscription Kit. Stampin’ Up! created Paper Pumpkin with a specific goal in mind: to help beginning stampers build confidence and, inspire, create, and share with quality papercrafting projects. It’s also great for anyone who wants to create hand crafted cards and projects in a short time.

WHAT’S INSIDE YOUR MONTHLY BOX?

With Paper Pumpkin, you’ll save time and money while you build a collection of crafting supplies. Every month you’ll receive a unique stamp set with an ink spot (that won’t repeat a color in a 12-month period). In no time at all, you’ll have a variety of stamps and ink to use on other projects. In addition, your first kit includes a free clear stamping block that you’ll use every month.

I’d appreciate it if you’d list me as your demonstrator of choice.  Thank youl

Making Everyday Bright & Santa’s Workshop

So, how are you coming on your Christmas preparations?  Last night I got all of the Christmas presents wrapped and tied up with pretty ribbons and bows.  Right now I just have sticky notes for tags on the gifts so I don’t forget what’s what until I have a chance to make the gift tags.

Here are a couple more Christmas cards I received in the mail this year.

Stampin' Up! Making Everyday Bright stamp set, Stampin' Studio

This card featuring the Making Everyday Bright stamp set was sent to me by my sister Peggy.  I really love the little penguin from this stamp set and how she turned them into a string of lights.  This card features a Gate fold and the fact that the sentiment is on one panel and the penguins are on another makes for a neat visual when the card opens up.

Stampin' Up! Santa's Workshop Suite, Stampin' Studio

Jeannie Johnson, one of my loyal customers created this card featuring the Santa’s Workshop Designer Series Paper.  The adorable sleigh and packages were fussy cut from the Santa’s Workshop DSP as well as the diagonal striped back ground.  It’s a simple card that turned out adorable.

Great news!  New items have been added to the Clearance Rack in the online store.  Supplies are limited, and with discounts up to 60%, products will go quickly. Shop now and stock up.

Hung With Care Hostess set

I’m back…did you miss me?  I never intended to take a week off from blogging, but sometimes life just gets in the way of doing what we plan on doing.  So, what have I been up to you’re wondering?  Well first of all on December 7th my dad ( he’ll be 82 in February) had open heart surgery to have a new aortic valve put in.  Great news…the surgery went very well and I was able to spend much of the time he was in the hospital with Mom and Dad as well as my 2 brothers and my sister.  On the 11th I was able to take Dad back home where he is recovering nicely at home with Mom taking very good care of him.

Since Dad got back home, I’ve been busy getting ready for Christmas.  I mailed out nearly 150 Christmas cards this year and I’ve been getting many lovely cards in the mail.  I’ve also been very busy planning all the projects for my Stamp Crop & Cruise Retreat I’m hosting January 26- February 2, 2019 aboard the Rhapsody of the Seas.  I’ve got a good start but times a ticking and I’ve got lots more to get done.  Because I’m concentrating on creating projects for the cruise, I decided from now until Christmas, I’ll be sharing some of the pretty Christmas cards I’ve been getting in the mail.  I hope you enjoy.

Stampin' UP! Hung With Care hostess stamp set, Stampin' Studio

I got this pretty card in the mail from my friend and team member Amanda Waldhart.  She used the Hung With Care Hostess stamp set found in the Holiday Catalog and paired it with the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper for a traditional Christmas vibe with a Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green color combination.
