Today’s card features the Flying Home stamp set, which is scheduled to retire May 31st or sooner if supplies run out.  This is such a pretty stamp set with great images for coloring with Stampin’ Blends, Colored Pencils, Stampin’ Write Markers or reinkers and Blender Pens or Aqua Painters.

This is no ordinary card, it’s a Double Z-Fold card which is much easier to make than it looks.  It’s kind of like a card inside a card.

Wow, you are all loving the Share What You Love Suite of products, aren’t you?  The three different bundles being offered including FREE product are flying off the shelves!  I am so in love with the products in this suite, like the Share What You Love Specialty designer Series Paper, The Artisan Pearls, Pearlized Doilies and the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder.  Since this suite is so popular, I thought I’d share some of the photos I took of the display boards at On Stage that feature the Share What You Love Suite.  I don’t know who the creator of all of the cards are, but I do know that Judi Carpenter made many of these.  I’ve got 14 beauties to share today, so here we go!

Bleach Embossing Technique

Today’s card features an impressive technique I call Bleach Embossing as well as a number of products that are retiring.  I’ve used Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant cardstock as well as the Big on Birthdays stamp set and the oh so cool Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate to create this pretty card.

Look close at the center of the flowers from the Big on Birthdays image.  Did you notice how it’s a lighter shade of purple?  That’s what happens with bleach on cardstock.  I stamped the image in VersaMark and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  Next I dipped the tip of an empty Aqua Painter into some regular household bleach and painted it within the flower image…and Voila’ I’ve got light purple flowers.  The embossed image helps to hold the bleach inside the lines for a simple yet stunning look.
