Happy Birthday Lemon Lime Twist

Stampin' Up! Better Together stamp set, Painters Palette stamp set, Lemon Lime Twist, Stampin' Studio

From the title of my post you may be thinking that today is the new In Color – Lemon Lime Twist‘s birthday…it is not.  In fact Lemon Lime Twist doesn’t really even exist yet.  Well, it exists, because I used it on this card, but it’s not available to order yet…not until June 1st!  I wanted to share this birthday card I made using the new Lemon Lime Twist color.  It’s a fun a sassy pop of green that’s very modern and right on trend when paired with Basic Black and Whisper White.

Let’s Take a Closer Look

You know me, I love texture, so I used the Seaside Embossing Folder for the background because it resembles streamers.  Next I stamped the sentiment from Painter’s Palette stamp set on a piece of Whisper White cardstock that was die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and layered it on a piece of Basic Black die cut using the Layering Squares Framelits.  The party hat, from the Better Together stamp set was stamped in Basic Black ink and colored in with the Lemon Lime Twist Marker that comes in the new In Color Marker Package.  The finishing touch is the soft Lemon Lime Twist 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbon which works great for bow making.

Sneak Peek: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper

Stampin' Up! One Wild Ride stamp set, Wood Texture Designer Series Paper Stack, Stampin' Studio

At my Stampin’ Bingo Party the other night, I wanted to get everyone excited about the new catalog and the great new products coming out June 1st, so I decided to highlight a few of the new things while using some of the current products I think everyone should own.  This fun masculine card is one of the make & takes from the evening.  What’s new you ask?  Check out the gorgeous Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack that I stamped on!  This paper stack comes in a package of 48 sheets with 12 different “wood” designs and let me tell you it’s stunning.  I used the One Wild Ride stamp set for the background of the card, as well as the motorcycle and sign images.

By keeping the color palette very neutral I was able to let the Wood Textures DSP do all the talking on this card.  I added more texture with the use of the Burlap Ribbon.  To get the layers on the sign, I stamped the image on the Wood Textures DSP and snipped the image out with my Paper Snips.  Then I used the Best Badge Punch with Early Espresso cardstock for the layer under the sign and voila! Instant layers!

Remeber you can’t get this great Designer Series Paper until June 1st, but you can order the other supplies for this card below.  I’ll be sharing more sneak peeks using some of the new In Colors over the next few days, so come on back to check them out.

Stampin’ Bingo & Sneak Peek: Label Me Pretty Bundle

Stampin' Up! Bingo

Each time a new catalog debuts, I have a Stampin’ Bingo night where I reveal the new catalog, we do some stamping and we play bingo for prizes.  Last night was my new Annual Catalog Bingo Party!  Each guest received a bingo card and tokens for playing 7 games of bingo as well as a “goodie bag” filled with the new 2017-2019 In Color cardstock, Designer Series Paper, and the 1/2″ Finely Woven Ribbons in all of the new in Colors.  I love to make sweet treats and party favors, and we all know that stamping and chocolate go great together, so I dipped some pretzel rods in white chocolate and milk chocolate and drizzled colored chocolate over them for a fun and festive treat.

Let’s Take a Closer Look

Here’s a sneak peek of a fun new bundle in the Annual Catalog.  It’s called Label Me Pretty.  I stamped the label image in Basic Black on Bermuda Bay cardstock and punched it out with the coordinating Pretty Label Punch (you can purchase these in a bundle for 10% off starting June 1st).  The adorable “stamp” image comes from the Crafting Forever stamp set I featured yesterday.  If you missed that post you can see it HERE.

Bingo Prizes

Here are some of the prizes that were won during our night of bingo.  Some awesome product that will no longer be available and some brand new product that can’t even be purchased yet, (like new In Color ink pads, Color Theory cardstock, paper stack and embellishments, and how about the Seasonal Layers Thinlits)!  They were all a huge hit.

New Catalog

…and of course, everyone went home with their own copy of the new Annual Catalog!

Want to know what we stamped?  Well, I’ll be showing those projects over the next few days, but I’ll give you a hint…they all feature some current products and some new products on each project, so be sure to come on back for some more “sneak peeks”.
