Yes, that’s right, I’ve got another card featuring the Eastern Palace Suite and a new color to share with you today.  Today’s feature color is Fresh Fig which is a deep rich shade of purple.  I used a Fresh Fig Tassel from the Mini Tassel Assortment and one of the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers to add a royal element to this card.  Both the tassels and the stickers are part of the Eastern Palace Premiere Bundle which when purchased by the end of May includes some FREE product.

Let’s Take a Closer Look

I used one of the Eastern Medallion Thinlits for this pretty Fresh Fig medallion and did just a bit of snipping around the outer edge of the circle to release the delicate image from the cardstock.  Next I attached the Eastern Gold Vinyl Sticker to the Very Vanilla cardstock and used another thinlit to cut the image out.  I added just a bit of stamping in Fresh Fig around the medallion before I attached the Tassel with a Mini Glue Dot.

I’ve got another card made with the Eastern Palace Suite of products and I’m showcasing another new In Color; Lemon Lime Twist.  I started with a base of Dapper Denim and added a layer of Lemon Lime Twist.  I love this bright pop of color”  Next, I layered on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with a band of Dapper Denim print from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The circle medallion is stamped in Dapper Denim and punched out with the 2″ circle punch.  Next I stamped the flower petal medallion in Dapper Denim once on Dapper Denim cardstock and once on  the Lemon Lime Twist DSP (both were die cut with the Eastern Medallion Thinlits.)

Did you notice the pretty little gold border above and below the Dapper Denim border?  I used the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers for this.  There are a bunch of different designs in the package, so I chose one long strip and cut it into 4 smaller pieces since I knew part of the sticker border was going to get covered up by the layered medallions.  I used another brand new product in the center of the medallion; it’s the Gold Faceted gems and you can order them starting June 1st.  They’re so pretty and add the perfect finishing touch to this card.

Measurements: Dapper Denim: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for flower medallion, Lemon Lime Twist cardstock: 3-1/4″ x 5″, Very Vanilla cardstock: 3″ x 4-3/4″ and 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ for circle medallion, Eastern Palace DSP Dapper Denim Print: 1″ x 3-3/4″, Lemon Lime DSP Print: scrap for medallion.

I have really been enjoying the Eastern Palace Suite with the Eastern Beauty stamp set, the Eastern Medallion Thinlits and the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper.  Today’s card also features one of the new In Colors.  Here you see Dapper Denim paired with Tranquil Tide, which is a bluish kind of green, and it’s kind of a chameleon color in that it appears to change colors depending on whether it’s paired with blue or green.

I stamped the sentiment from Eastern Beauty in Tranquil Tide on Very Vanilla and then die cut it with one of the thinlits from the Eastern Medallion Thinlits.  Next I layered two thinlits on Dapper Denim to create a “frame” around the sentiment.  I layered these on the pretty Eastern Palace DSP that helps to tie the whole thing together.
