Stampin’ Up! has designed a bunch of products that all coordinate together with the Balloon Adventures Bundle.  They’re calling this grouping of products the Party Animal Suite, so let me point out some of the amazing products I used on this card.  First off you probably have already noticed the new Party Animal Designer Series Paper used for the background of the card.  This is a really fun paper pack that coordinates with Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White.  Next is of course the Balloon Adventure stamp set with the festive confetti and streamers stamped on the corners of the white card stock.  Finally we’ve got some fun accessories,  like the 1/8″ Emerald Envy Taffeta Ribbon and look closely under the bow and you’ll see one of my favorite new products.  Do you see the little orange balloon charm?  It’s part of the Party Animals Embellishments which comes with 8 orange balloons and 8 blue party hats.  These are silver charms which are painted in Tangerine Tango and Pacific Point so they coordinate perfectly.

Now let’s check out the inside of this card, because it has a surprise for you.

I used the coordinating Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Die for the inside.  I die cut it with the Big Shot on Whisper White card stock then I stamped the balloons from the Balloon Adventure stamp set.  The Thinlits even have a banner built right into it, so all I had to do was add the sentiment right on the banner.  I used a few strips of the striped printed paper from he Animal Party Designer Series Paper on the inside as well.

Cake Crazy Stamp Set

I thought it’s about time to share some fun samples made with brand new product from the Occasions Catalog.  Now, hold your horses, you can’t order out of the new catalogs until January 4th but I thought maybe you’d want to see some of the fun stuff.  Today’s Sneak Peek: Cake Crazy.  My friend, Donna Griffith from the Stampin’ Up! home office, gave me this card for my birthday back in November.  Since she works at Stampin’ Up! she was able to play with new product much earlier than us demonstrators.

Three things I love about this card:

First off, I love the color combination of Island Indigo, Cucumber Crush and Marina Mist set on the back ground of Whisper White

Second, the new Cake Crazy stamp set is so much fun because you can make some crazy cakes of all different shapes and sizes

Third, I love the “bling” of the Silver Sequins and the Stars she added to really let you know there’s something worth celebrating.

Happy New Year!

I sure hope 2017 brings you nothing but happiness-Happy New Year!   Speaking of happiness, Dave and I just spent a glorious week with both of the kids on a week long cruise over Christmas on the Mexican Riviera.  It was fabulous to get together with them as we don’t get to see them nearly enough since Michael lives in Minneapolis and Nicole is in Bloomington, Indiana.

So any way, I wanted to share this Happy New Years card using a fabulous yet overlooked stamp set in the Holiday catalog.  It features the Frosted Medallions stamp set which I pared with some Rhinestone Jewels and Delicate White Doilies for a wintry look.  The Holiday catalog ends January 3rd, so be sure to place your final order by then and be sure to come back tomorrow as I will start sharing some projects made with brand new product from the Occasions and sale-a-bration catalogs.
