Santa’s Sleigh Scenery

Team member Amanda Waldhart created this piece of art using the Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits Dies for our team Christmas gift exchange.  I was the lucky recipient of this work of art.  The snow was made from layers of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter paper, while the trees were cut from various shades of green card stock and then bedazzled with Wink of Stella Paint.

The reindeer, the wreath and bow as well as the sleigh were all die cut from the Santa’s Sleigh Thinlits.  All of the pieces were then attached to a wooden board she purchased at Michael’s.  I’ve got some talented stampers on my team, wouldn’t you agree?

Desk Calendar

Today’s gift is a desk calendar with a note pad and a cute little bag.  Team member Denise Becker made these for our Christmas Gift Exchange last week.  She ordered the tiny printed calendar online (sorry I don’t know where) and attached it and a stack of Post-it Notes to a clear acrylic frame which has been turned on it’s side.

I love that she used my favorite paper, the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper, for both the background of the calendar and also the little gift bag.  So stinkin’ cute.

Christmas Ornanment

Here’s another wonderful handmade gift made by team member Sue Coomber for our team Christmas Party last week.  Everyone was to make a gift using Stampin’ Up! product.  Sue made this Christmas ornament using a brand new stamp set from the upcoming Occasions Catalog.  It’s called Beautiful You.  Sue explained that she makes ornaments in honor of cancer survivors that are given out in her community.

The image from Beautiful You was stamped on Whisper White paper and then rolled up and inserted inside the ornament.  The ornament was purchased at a craft store.  She sprinkled glitter and confetti inside the ornament and tied a piece of the Sweet Sugarplum 3/8″ Glitter Ribbon to the outside of the ornament.
