Penned & Painted

I received this beautiful card in the mail from Stampin’ Up! trainer Donna Griffith right before the November On Stage event in Madison, WI.  This card was sent to encourage me on regarding the presentation I was doing at the On Stage event.  She told me that she almost always CASE’s cards she makes.  CASE means to Copy And Share Everything, so she’s referring to recreating a card she’s seen elsewhere.    Donna was proud to share that this is a Donna original, as in she didn’t CASE it.  I think she did a beautiful job with the Penned & Painted stamp set and a bunch of pretty spring colors.

On a blistery cold day in Wisconsin, I am really appreciating the feeling of spring in this card.I also really love how the tag is hanging on the card and the little bit of Washi Tape that helps to accentuate the tag.

Anniversary or Wedding Card

Today’s card is one we made last week at Stamp & Go Club.  We’ve been doing so much with Christmas I decided it was time to take a break from it and make an anniversary or wedding card.  This card could easily fit the bill for either occasion.

There’s so much I really like about this card, but I’ll narrow it down to three things:

1.  The texture created with the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder in the background.   You know me, I am in love with texture and embossing folders are the quickest way to add some great texture.

2. The fun script font from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits.  No need to stamp on this card when you’ve got such a pretty sentiment created with the Big Shot.  An added bonus is that the die cut heart is from the same set of thinlits as the sentiment.  Win-win!

3. The “BLING”.  Who can resist the extra pizzazz you get with the copper accents found in the Petals & Paiselys Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Copper Foil Paper.  So stunning!

Kuerig Cup Packaging for Christmas

Want to leave a little Secret Santa gift on a co-workers desk? Check out this Kuerig Cup packaging for Christmas that Amanda made!  She put the Kuerig Cup in one of the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes (16 in a package) then tied it up with ribbon and added a tag stamped with the sentiment from Yummy Little Christmas.
