Christmas Pines Bundle

This beautiful card was designed by one of my Stampin’ Express Team members, Amanda Waldhart, for a shoe box swap we did a couple months ago.  I can’t believe I hadn’t posted it yet.  It uses the Christmas Pines Bundle which features the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and the Christmas Pines stamp set.  You can purchase these together as a bundle and save 10% or you can take advantage of the super sale going on through the end of November and get the stamp set at 25% off.  I especially love how Amanda used two different prints from the This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper .

Spread some Christmas Cheer with Stitched Shapes Framelits

I’ve been loving the time I’ve had to play with the new Stitched Shapes Framelits.  These framelits are so popular they’ve been flying off the shelves and Stampin’ Up! says they’ll be out of the supply by early next week, so if you want them you’d better order them now before we are not able to order for a while.  This time I partnered it with the Tin of Tags stamp set (which is on sale for 25% off) so that I can Spread some Christmas Cheer with Stitched Shapes Framelits.  First I cut a window in the Whisper White card stock with the Layering Squares Framelits and punched out the hat using the Jolly Hat Builder Punch.  I used the Stampin’ Write markers on the sentiment to get two colors, then cut out the stitched square with the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

Fa-la-la-la Friends

Did you fly right by the Fa-la-la-la Friends stamp set in the Holiday Catalog?  I did the first few times I paged through it. Then one day I noticed it- check it out on page 30.  While I get a kick out of the llama all tangled up in Christmas lights, my favorite image and sentiment is the fish with the sentiment “This is Your Christmas Cod”.  I don’t know why, but now every time I flip through the pages and see the Fa-la-la-la Friends stamp set, I giggle just a bit.

If you look closely at the card you’ll notice that the card opens on the right side and the front of the card is only 2″ high with a half circle punch out of it.  The fish and all of the circle layers are actually attached to the inside of the card.
