The Stitched Shapes Framelits are a brand new set of framelits that just became available on November 1st.  These new framelits coordinate with the Layering Ovals Framelits, the Layering Circles Framelits and the Layering Squares Framelits.  Look closely at the oval that the snowflake is stamped on…do you see the adorable stitching along the edge?  The Stitched Shapes Framelits do that when you run them through the Big Shot.

We’re still enjoying some beautiful fall days here in Wisconsin but I know that in just a matter of days the weather could switch and we’ll be looking at some cold winter days.  This bundled up Eskimo reminds me of the days when the kids were little and I’d get them all bundled up to go outside to the point where there arms stuck out like this and they had a hard time walking.  The sweet image and the sentiment both come from the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set.  Did you notice I added texture to the background with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder?

Hang Your Stocking

The Hang Your Stocking stamp set is a fun one to play around with.  My husband wears socks with patterns and designs on them, so this card reminders me of some of his socks.  I stamped the sock image in Emerald Envy and then colored in some of the polka dots with the Cherry Cobbler Marker.  The texture in the background of this card is the Holly Embossing Folder which really adds to the festive look of this card.  A bit of the Pinecones & Presents Designer Series Paper and some of the 3/8″ Tafetta Ribbon Combo Pack finishes this card off in a snap.
