Holy cow, its been 2 months since I’ve posted here on my blog!  I was busy designing and prepping for my Stamp, Crop & Cruise Retreat to the Caribbean.  Well, the cruise was last week and it was wonderful and I’ll share all ablout the cruise and the projects we made in a bit, but right now there’s only 2 weeks left of Sale-a-bration, so I want to focus on projects I’ve made using Sale-a-bration products.  Check out this fun card featuring the Adorable Owls stamp set, then read up on Sale-a-bration to see how you can earn product for FREE!

Color Combo

Measurements:

• Thick Basic White: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” score at 4-1/4” (for card base)
• Crumb Cake: 4-7/8” x 3-5/8”
• Night of Navy: 4-3/4” x 3-1/2” and 4-1/2” x 3/8” for banner and 2-1/2” x 1” for banner
• Basic White: 4-5/8” x 3-3/8” for embossing, 2” x 2” for stamping and 2-1/2” x 1” for banner
• Neutrals 6” x 6” Designer Series Paper Pack (Night of Navy Plaid and Crumb Cake Polka-Dots) 3” x 1-1/2” each

Instructions:

• Emboss the large Basic White piece with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the large Night of Navy piece and then onto the Crumb Cake piece, then attach to the Thick Basic White card front.
• Use the largest stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies to die-cut ½ a circle from the Night of Navy Plaid and Crumb Cake Polka-Dots, then attach these to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals making a complete circle
• Use Paper Snips to cut a notch in one end of the long thin Night of Navy piece to create a banner. Attach this to the card front as shown with Dimensionals and Seal Adhesive.
• Using two banner dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut banners from the small Night of Navy and Basic White pieces. Adhere the Basic White Banner to the Night of Navy banner with Seal Adhesive then attach to the card with Dimensionals.
• Stamp the owl with Memento Ink on the 2” x 2” piece of Basic White and fussy cut the image with Paper Snips.
• Color the owl with Stampin’ Blends: Body- light & dark Crumb Cake, Eyes- light Night of Navy, and Beak & Feet Light Pumpkin Pie. Then attach owl to card front with Dimensionals.
• Attach a few of the Starry Sky In Color Matte Decorative Dots as shown.
