I decided it’s time to get started on some Christmas cards and I knew the Christmas Scotties Bundle would be the perfect place to start.  There is a punch that punches out one of the Scottie Dog images to make creating fun cards just so easy.

The Santa Express Designer Series Paper was my “Go to” paper for this card as I love the festive diagonal stripes and the Fa la la la la in the paper.  The Flat Jingle Bell Trinkets are the perfect addition to the Scottie Dogs collar.  Don’t forget to add some pizzazz to the inside of the card…Shaded Spruce snowflakes and Poppy Parade Sentiment.

One Happy Family to celebrate a pregnancy

The One Happy Family stamp set is perfect to send words of encouragement to someone who’s been feeling rotten with her pregnancy.  The card is a simple Z-Fold, where the front panel folds back on itself and adds a bit of interest.

Color Combo

The card base measures the standard 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and is scored at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″.  a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of So Safforn is adhered to the inside of the card and a 5-1/5″ x 1-7/8″ piece of Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper is attached to the left front panel.  The circles and banner are all die-cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies and the senitiments are stamped in Daffodil Delight ink.  The circles are aattached only on the left panel, so that the card will still open.  The leafy die-cut is from the Splendid Stems Dies and attached with a couple Mini Glue Dots.  The ribbon is the White Crinkled Seam Binding which was colored with  Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend, tied in a bow and attached with a Mini Glue Dot.  The addition of a few a few In Color Opal Rounds finishes off the card.

Splendid Thoughts Bundle

Todays card is a soft and feminine card that is perfect for so many occasions.  I used the Splendid Thoughts Bundle and the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper.

Color Combo

The Splendid Day Designer Series Paper is stunning with some of the prints having a metallic sheen to them.  I decided to use two of the Fresh Freesia prints and paired it with Rich Razzleberry for the ink.  Four strips of the DSP that measure 4″ x 3/4″ are attached to the Basic White Backgroundalong tith a 1″ x 3″ strip of Fresh Freesia with the sentiment.  After stamping the leaf image on Fresh Freesia cardstock with Rich Razzleberry ink, I colored the image with a clean Blender Pen, then die-cut it with the coordinating Splendid Stems Dies and popped it up on the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The finishing touch is the addition of a few of the Pastel Pearls.
