There’s not a whole lot of time left before the retiring products are gone for good, so I thought I’d share one of my favorite stamp sets that will be gone as of May 31st.

Everything Eleanor

The beautiful soft swirl image comes from the Everything Eleanor stamp set which is retiring.  I’ve added some dainty flowers punched out with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack which is also retiring.  I’ve used the sentiment from Thoughts and Prayers but you could use any sentiment and make it a wedding card, birthday or pretty much anything.

Why does it work?

Do you ever look at a card and wonder just why it works?  For this simple card it works because of the repetition.

Gifts from the Garden

The background is embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder.  The dots are then repeated with the 1 3/8″ Circle Punch.  The potted plants come from the Gifts from the Garden stamp set and continue with the theme of repetition in that they are potted in Calypso Coral pots.  Try your hand at a card with repetition and see how easy it is.
