Watermelon Wonder or Bermuda Bay?

I have to tell you the Shine On Specialty Designer Series Paper in the Occasions Catalog is gorgeous.   It’s heavy kraft paper that is printed with elegant silver designs on one side and trendy colored prints on the other.  The colored sides have different designs in Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda bay and Cucumber Crush.
So I decided to play around with the Watermelon Wonder and Bermuda Bay prints and create the same card.  I used the Grateful Bunch stamp set and the coordinating Blossom Bunch Punch  (get it 15% off when you order the Grateful Bunch Bundle).

So tell me, what do you think?  Which is your favorite, Watermelon Wonder or Bermuda Bay?

Yay Presents!

This fun card came together easily with the use of the
Ornate Tag Topper Punch.
I ran some of the Melon Mambo and Mint Macaron Bakers Twine through the hole in the tag for a festive touch.  Once again I used the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack and the Party Wishes stamp set and coordinating Party Punch Pack which punched out all of the adorable balloons.  Of course I couldn’t stop there; so I added some bling in the from the It’s My Party Enamel Dots and a Rhinestone and there you have it.

Happy Day

It is a ‘Happy Day” when you see a card layout you like.
I saw a layout a few weeks ago that inspired me to make this card.  I don’t know what it is about the circle frame here, but it makes me happy.  I just used 2 sizes of the Circle Collection Framelits to get the look.  I used the Botanical Garden Designer Series Paper and the coordinating Botanical Blooms and Botanical Builders Framelits.  I love the dimension that can be achieved by simply fluffing up the petals of the flower.  The simple sentiment comes from the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Perfect Pairings.
