Thank You

How’s this for a bright and cheery thank you?  My team member Amanda created this card using the You’re So Lovely stamp set for an event we did a few weeks ago.
What I Love about this card:
1. The color combination of Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White and Kraft card stock
2. The texture in the background created with the Large Polka Dots Embossing Folder
3. The touch of whimsy by turning the star layer at an angle.
I think this is a layout I will be “case-ing” (Copy And Share Everything)

Know What I Love?

I love Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-bration time! This card is made with one of the FREE Sale-a-bration choices call What I Love.

Notice how there are no layers on this card?  It’s just a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock folded in half and stamped in Melon Mambo and then Heat Embossed with Whisper White Embossing Powder.  So simple, so pretty and oh so FREE!

Busy, busy, busy!

Live is crazy and always busy and the last week has certainly been no different.
Next weekend I’m hosting our 10th annual Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat with my best friend and sister Peggy.  The retreat is a blast and is unlike most retreats.  What makes our retreat so unique is not only the fabulous 60 stampers that spend the weekend with us, but the jam packed series of classes and projects that we design and provide all included in the cost of retreat.
4 weeks ago Peggy and I got together and designed 8 classes and projects and placed the orders for all of the supplies.  Last week I started cutting and prepping, so here you can see some of the prep work for just one of the projects.  Peggy’s doing the same thing at her house.
This weekend I’ll be making lots of little gifts the attendees will receive throughout the weekend.  We’ll have great food, games, prizes, and stamping.  I can’t wait and I’ll be sure to post pictures after the event but for now I wanted to share a great card that my team member Lorri Nastala created for the Winter Warm Up Stamp Camp we did a few weeks ago.
The ice cream cone is from the Honeycomb Happiness Sale-a-bration stamp set while the “splatters” come from Gorgeous Grunge.
Okay back to work for this girl.  I’ll have more fun stuff to share with you tomorrow.
