Who wants FREE markers? I do!

My Paper Pumpkin debuted a year ago, and I signed up for it as soon as it began, eager to see the surprises that would arrive at my door each month.  While I liked most of the kits, nothing blew me away.  I know some of you are kind of “eh” about My Paper Pumpkin.  Well, it’s time to change that attitude.

At Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference, we were told that Stampin’ Up! is Really turning up the volume on the “WOW!” factor of the My Paper Pumpkin monthly kits – more accessories, more supplies and photopolymer stamps are on the way.  When I visited the My Paper Pumpkin booth at Leadership, I was hesitant – I has to see it with my own eyes.  AND I DID — Oh My GOSH!  There was a little “Peep booth” set up for us to preview the upcoming kits.  I have to say they are wonderful!  I am very excited for next months My Paper Pumpkin kit and I’m pretty sure you will love it too.
I hope you will give My Paper Pumpkin a try.  Whether you have never signed up or have never given it much thought, these kits are great – they are a quick treat for you or they make a wonderful gift for those that don’t have much time or room to stamp.

Love you to the Moon

For Christmas my daughter, Nicole gave me a beautiful silver necklace with a full moon and sliver moon on it that says I Love you to the Moon and Back.  Oh how I love that girl:)  Because of the sentiments this card, which was created by my sister Peggy Murwin, reminds me of Nicole.  This card is called a gate fold.  The base of the card measures 4 1/4″ x 11″.  It is scored at 2 3/4″ from each long end.  Each side is then folded into the center resembling a gate.

Love that Gold!

I must confess, when I first saw all the gold bling in the Occasions catalog, it excite me at all.  In fact I found it a “bit much”, what with the Gold Foil Sheets, Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum, Watercolor Wonder Designer Washi Tape, Gold Bakers Twine and the Gold Sequin Trim.  But that all changed when I started playing with them.  Oh my, is this stuff fun and does it ever produce elegant results.  Get your hands on some of this Gold and you’ll see what I mean.
