Rose Garden Wedding

I received this pretty card swap from my friend Cathy. It’s a unique way to use the rose Garden Thinlits Dies

I love the elegant outline that the Rose Garden Thinlits create. Take a close look and you’ll see that the Blackberry Bliss flower and the Mossy Meadow leaves are actually some of the Sale-a-bration Botanical Gardens designer Series Vellum Stack that she colored with ink. She then attached the die cut flower and leaf to the vellum with the Fine Tip Glue Pen and hand cut around the paper. It’s a stunning card, don’t you think?

Confetti and Streamers and Cake, Oh My!

Have you played around with the Confetti Embossing Folder yet?

The design is so festive with the confetti and streamers, but I also really like the fact that in the center of the folder there is an oval area where there is no pattern of embossing. This means you can emboss a piece of card stock and then stamp an image in the center. This particular card has Crushed Curry and Whisper White card stock layers over the non-embossed area.

Don’t you love the multi colors on the embossed design? This was simple to achieve with various ink pads and sponge daubers rubbed over the embossed image.
