Looks like Spring to me…

The scene on this card may look like spring, and Feb 2nd is Ground Hog Day when we find out if we have a early Spring or 6 more weeks of Winter But it sounds like a snow storm is brewing for us.   Oh well, that’s winter in Wisconsin.
The image on this card is from Happy Home, which is a stamp set that coordinates with the Hearth & Home Thinlits Die which is the one that looks like a window pane.  I water colored the image for a soft look.

In the Meadow

Here’s the final card we made at class last week.  The class was a masculine card class that featured Water coloring and the In the Meadow stamp set.
Stampin’ Up!’s Watercolor Paper and the Aqua Painter is the key to easy water coloring.  For this card I used Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Crumb Ck=ake Reinkers.

Birthday Greetings for Him

Here’s another card that would work great for the guys in your life.  Keeping the color palate in the neutral tones and the nature theme is sure to be a hit for most men.  Don’t you just love the texture of the Corrugated card stock.

The focal point is the tree image from In the Meadow.  I bet you’re wondering how I cut out the circle without cutting off the tops of the trees, right?
Take a look at THIS POST to see how I did this with a different stamp set.
