29 Again!

Let me share with you a stamp set and framelits I think will be over looked in the Occasions catalog.  It’s the Number of Years stamp set and the coordinating Large Numbers Framelits.  They’re bundled together for a 15% savings and that’s not even the best part!  The stamp set has sentiments and images for birthdays, anniversaries, school grades (think scrapbooking here) there are also some pretty banners and flowers, so the possibilities are endless.

I used the Confetti Embossing Folder for the back ground and then pulled the color pallet from the It’s My Party Designer Series Paper Stack.  Popping the number up with dimensionals really makes it pop.

Burnished Rose Wonder

Are you ready for a technique that features a new stamp set?

The Rose Wonder stamp set from the Occasions catalog is delicate and simple and it has lots of beautiful sentiments to go with it (not to mention there’s a coordinating set of Thinlits that you can bundle with it to save 15%)
I stamped the rose image in Versamark and heat embossed it with Whisper White Embossing powder.  Then I inked up the Sponge Dauber with Cherry Cobbler and rubbed it over the embossed image.  The ink doesn’t stick to the embossing.  I then did the same thing for the leaves with Mossy Meadow ink.

You’re So Sweet!

I thought I’d share a sweet card featuring another Sale-a-bration stamp set.

This adorable ice cream cone and the sentiment both come from the Honeycomb Happiness stamp set which you can choose for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration.  I trimmed off 1″ from the front of this card then I added a strip of the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper to the inside edge of the card, so that it’s visible when the card is closed. The pretty Mint Macron printed banner (also from the Birthday Bouquet DSP) extends over the edge of the front flap but fits perfectly within the overall card width.
