Simple Snowy Scene

You know me, I love the fancy fussy cards that are truly one of a kind cards that you wouldn’t want to make mass numbers of them due to the time involvement.

This card give the same wow factor without a lot of time and fuss.
The Softly Falling embossing folder gives subtle texture to the background. I layer of Silver Glimmer Paper adds the sparkle factor, and finally the stamped image from Happy Scene is heat embossed in Silver Embossing Powder.

The Perfect Christmas Tree

I remember, back when the kids were little, going to pick out the perfect Christmas tree.  Once we spotted it, we knew it was “the one”.
Today’s card celebrates the perfect Christmas tree.

The tree images are from the Peaceful Pines stamp set and “the one” has been die cut with the coordinating Perfect Pines Framelits.  Look closely at the tree and you’ll notice that this tree is already decorated with tiny little red lights.  One of the Framelits in the set cuts those tine holes and a piece of Real Red card stock behind the tree shows through.  The top of the tree is adorned with one of the buttons from the Home for the Holidays Designer Buttons.

For the New Mr. & Mrs.

I was in the mood for a fun wedding card.  You know me, I’m lovin’ the Black, Gold and White color combination.

I did some Gold Heat Embossing using the World of Dreams stamp set on the front flap.  The stunning Black and Gold Striped paper is from the Winter Wonderland Designer Specialty Paper.
But wait… check out this uber cool fun fold!

This is called a Pull Out Fun Fold card.  It’s no where near as hard as it looks.  A few cuts and a few scores, then fold and you’ve got it.   I tried to put together a written tutorial on how to make it, but I think you really need to see a video to get it.  Hopefully soon I’ll be able to post some video tutorials.
