Lookie, lookie!

I just had to share what I got in the mail from Stampin’ Up! the other day.

This is a milestone pin with 4 stones in it.  Each stone represent $100,000 in sales of Stampin’ Up! product.  That’s right, I’ve sold over $400,000 of product during my career with Stampin’ Up!
That’s a lot of stamps, ink and paper don’t you think?

Any way, I wanted to thank all of you for the support you’ve shown through the years.  I cherish all of you and please know that this wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Printed Panels Background

I wanted to share a fun card we made last week at my Stamp & Go Club.

I used the Pretty Petals Designer Series Paper Stack and cut the different prints into 1″ x 3″ pieces and mounted them on a 4 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ piece of Basic Black card stock.  These printed panels give a lively back ground to the simple card.  Next I used the Festive Flower Builder Punch to create the fun flower using the Watermelon Wonder, Old Olive, Basic Black and Whisper White color palate from the paper.

Gift Card Holder

Just wondering how your Christmas shopping is coming along?  If you’re like me, you’ll be giving some gift cards, so why not make them more fun to receive by putting them in a pretty gift card holder that’s easy to make.

I used one of our Kraft Tag a Bag Gift Bags (they come 10 in a package, so you might as well make 10 up to have on hand).  I scored it 3″ from the bottom edge and folded it up.  This makes a little pocket for the gift card to slide into once I wrap a 2″ piece of Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper around the bag in the form of a belly band.

The insert is a 41/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Real Red card stock which punched corners from the Curvy Corner Trio Punch and is stamped with sentiments from the Oh, What Fun stamp set.

The finishing touches are the Red Glimmer Paper scallop and stamped sentiment from Cozy Christmas as well as the Mossy Meadow 5/8″ Striped Cotton Ribbon and a Home for Christmas Designer Series Button.  I also used the Real Red Envelope Paper to make a custom made envelope using the Envelope Punch Board.

Do you know what the best part of this project is? …. nearly all of the products used to make theses gift card holders are on sale in the Year End Sale from Stampin’ Up!
