Chevron Lattice

I was so excited when I saw a new way to use the Chevron Border Punch.  Check out the Lattice design on the bottom of this card.  It’s made by punching a border with the Chevron punch and then taking the punched out pieces, flipping them over and attaching them on top of the punched out border.  Pretty simple and so cool looking.  The black “band” above the lattice design is sticky tape which I then sprinkled Black Glitter…can you say BLING!

I’ve been having fun playing with my new Envelope Punch Board.  I made this really quick 3″ x 3″ card with the matching envelope.  The entire thing took me less than 5 minutes.  With 66 different sizes, I love that I can make an envelope to fit practically any size card I want to make and I can coordinate the envelope with the card.  It’s a great way to use some of my stash of terrific Designer Series Papers.  If you haven’t ordered your Envelope Punch Board yet, what are you waiting for?

Fall is in the air

With it getting darker earlier in the evening, and some of the leaves already starting to fall from the trees, it surely feels like fall is in the air.  This super simple fall card could easily be used as a masculine birthday card just by swapping out the greetings.  The piercing around the circle adds just a bit of texture.
