Snow Flurries

I so love it that our Stampin’ Up! products coordinate so well!  Today it’s all about the snow flakes.

I stamped the Crumb Cake card stock in Crumb Cake ink with the Flurry of Wishes stamp set (the sentiment comes from the same set).  The Soft Sky card stock is embossed with the Gently Falling Embossing Folder.  A strip of the new Very Vanilla 1 1/4″ Subtle Striped Satin Ribbon adds a touch of elegance to the card.  The final accent is the Snowflake Embellishment (made of wood) and topped off with a rhinestone.

If the Broom Fits…

I love the sentiment on this card and I know a few of my girl friends that would get a kick out of it too.

Did you notice that the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper is smiling at you?  Look closely and you’ll see there are jack-o-lantern smiles on there!  The Spider Web Doily makes the perfect frame for the broom image from the stamp set called If the Broom Fits.

Give Thanks

As we have already passed the first week on October (can you believe it?) and the feel of Autumn has definitely arrived, it makes me reflect on things I am thankful for.

This image from Thankful Forest Friends gives the perfect focal point on this simple give thanks card.  The two toned affect on this image was achieved by coloring directly onto the stamp with Stampin’ Write Markers in Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry then stamped on the paper.  The pretty floral pattern of the Designer Series Paper is from Into the Woods and finally the elegant texture is from the Elegant Dots Embossing Folder.
