Super Elegant

If you’re looking for an super elegant card to make for Christmas, this is one to consider. The photo doesn’t even begin to show its awesomeness.

The Real Red card base is cut 4 1/4″ wide by 8 1/2″ tall and is scored at 4 1/4″.

I layered a 3″ x 3″ piece of the Holidays Fancy Foil Designer Vellum onto a

3 1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock which is attached to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals so that the card now measures 5 1/2″ tall. The beautiful ornament is Real Red Foil Paper cut out with the Delicate Ornaments Thinlits Die layered on a Whisper White ornament cut from the same Thinlits set. The ornament topper is also from the same thinlits set and is cut from the Gold Foil Paper. The shimmer from the foil paper and the vellum paper is stunning in person.

I am really enjoying the new Into the Woods Designer Series Paper. In fact my color palate for tis card came directly from the paper.

I love how the images pop on this card with the use of a lot of white space. The Acorn image and sentiment from Acorny Thank You are both stamped in Rich Razzleberry and the acorn is punched out with the Acorn Builder Punch and adorned sweetly with the Old Olive Bakers Twine. The texture of the Into the Woods Cotton Ribbon is scrumptious.

Halloween Framed Art

I started out a few days ago sharing with you some cards and a treat bag I made using “left over” pieces from the Witching Décor Project Kit.

As promised I have one final project to share.

I purchased the shadow box frame from a craft store and added a piece of Crushed Curry card stock for the back. Everything else was left overs from the kit. I stamped and sponged the leaves and label with the Witches Night stamp set, added the linen thread bows, banners, rhinestones, spider web and acorns from the kit, and I’ve got another great décor piece to display along side my witches hat. I hope you enjoyed seeing what you can do with left overs from the kit.
