Look who’s saying Hi

I’ve played around with the Hearth & Home Thinlit quite a bit and I really like it’s versatility, so I thought I’d share another card with it.

The Brick Wall Embossing Folder was used for the back ground and then the Tip Top Taupe window Frame was cut out with the Hearth & Home Thinlits Die.  The winter scene comes from the Happy Scenes stamp set which is sold in a bundle with the Hearth & Home Thinlits at a 15% savings.  The adorable Santa waving through the window is not a stamp but rather an image from the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper.  How adorable is that?

Are you ready for a sleigh ride?

When I first opened the new Holiday Catalog, the Sleigh Ride Edgelits caught my eye…

…and is there any wonder why?  One quick pass through the Big Shot and a plain piece of Whisper White card stock is transformed into a delicate winter scene.  I thought it would be difficult to cut such an intricate design but I used the new Precision Base Plate for the Big Shot, which is designed for the intricate cuts.  The die cut images slipped right out of the die.  The sentiment comes from the Jingle All the Way stamp set which is sold in a bundle along with the Sleigh Ride Edgleits at a savings of 15%, can I get a woo-hoo?  I used Sponge Dauber to turn the Snowflake Element from wood to White and added a bow made from the new Silver Cording Trim.

Happy Scenes for Fall

At a recent demonstrator event I attended I spied this card someone was swapping.  I love the simplicity of it.

The image is from the set called Happy Scenes, its the one that is featured with the “Window Frame” Hearth & Home Thinlits.  The Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper adds the right amount of texture and don’t you just love the Basic Black Stitched Satin Ribbon?
