Enjoy Life…

When I saw the “Hello Life” project kit in the Occasions catalog I knew I wanted it for my stamp room.  I also knew I wanted to change things up a bit.  The kit comes with all of the elements shown except the Coastal Cabana pieces.  In the kit you get Crushed Curry accents and since I’m redoing my stamp room with accents of Coastal Cabana, I just had to swap things out.  I have to go through all of my stampin’ pictures to find the ones I have in mind for all of the “polaroid” shots.  This kit is so cute in person and so much fun to create.  Soon it will have it’s own special place in my stamp room.

What makes you happy?

This card makes me happy!  The sentiment comes from the “Hello Life” stamp set which I stamped in the Rose Coral Colorbox Chalk Ink on our new Chalkboard paper.  The card base itself is Baked Brown Sugar stamped with the Hardwood background stamp.  I know you’re wondering so let me just tell you that the base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″.  I used the Paper trimmer to cut out the bottom sections so “legs” emerged.  The pieces that were cut out are 1 1/4″ deep and are cut 1/2″ from the sides.

Doilies, and Flowers and Lace, oh my!

How delicate and adorable is this card made with the suite of products from the Something Borrowed collection in the Occasions catalog.  The designer paper, called Something Borrowed was my jumping off point for the card.  I paired it with the Sahara Sand Lace Trim and the doily image from the Petal Potpourri stamp set and the coordinating Flower Medallion Punch.  The sentiment comes from a Sale-a-bration stamp set called “Simply Wonderful”.
By changing out the sentiment, I can see using this card for birthday, wedding, sympathy, get well…the list goes on and on.  I love this versatility.
