A simple snowflake cut out using the Snowflake Card Thinlits Die.  A little sparkle of Gold Glimmer Paper (on Sale 50% off through Dec 2nd). Some sponging around the edges of the Crumb Cake card stock to antique it just a bit.  Endless Wishes, the go to stamp set for greetings.  Tie the whole thing up with some Gold Bakers Twine and there you have a super simple, very elegant Holiday card.

Color Glimmer Paper (the green stem was silver until I colored it with Old Olive Blendabilities)

 

 
Hombre Ribbon: I started with the lightest shade of Coastal Cabana on one end of Whisper White Seam Binding, then used Medium in the middle and finally the darkest on the other end.

 

 
Color on Vellum

 

 
Color on Embossing Powder:  I stamped the flower boarder in Versa Mark and embossed with white embossing powder.  I used Melon Mambo and Old Olive Blendabilites to color on top of the embossing to get a multi colored embossed effect.

 

 
Colored Hot Dots:  The center of the flower was made by coloring Daffodil Delight Blendabilites directly on our Silicone Sheet and immediately squeezing some glue from a hot glue gun on the colored spot.  Once the glue cooled, I could lift the colored glue dot off the sheet and attach to the center of the flower with a glue dot.

From Our Home to Yours…

Last week I held a class that featured the Homemade Holiday Framelits.  From the comments at the class it sounds like this one was their favorite.  We started out by stamping the houses in Memento Ink and coloring them with Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate Blendabilities, then cut them out with the coordinating Framelits.  The opening in the Whisper White piece was cut with the Deco Labels Framelits then embossed with the Stylish Stripes Embossing Folder then popped up on the Cherry Cobbler card base with Dimensionals.    I tucked two of the houses into the opening and one on the front.  The greeting is also from the Holiday Home stamp set and then cut our with the Bitty Banner Framelits.
