Warmest Wishes & Big Deals!

I guess if we’ve got the snow we might as well make a snow man right?  The friendly little guy was made using the Circle Framelits.  I just cut some of the circle off and pooped it up on the card with Dimensionals.  His scarf is made from the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack and the Heart on his scarf is from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.  I stamped “Warmest Wishes” from Christmas Bliss stamp set in Island Indigo ink on the matching card stock.  I love the crisp white snowman on the Island Indigo paired with Cherry Cobbler.  He really came alive when I added the sparkle in his eyes with the White
Gel Pen.

Big Deals are going to be happening on Monday in the Stampin’ Up! world with A-Maze-ing sales for a week as well as one day door busters and one of the best Started Kit Offers I’ve ever seen.   Be sure to check back tomorrow as I share all the details.

Ooooooh Joy!

Love, love, love the simplicity of this card.  The tree from Festival of Trees was stamped in the Silver Encore Ink.  It’s super easy to get the trees lined up perfectly because the stamp set is a photopolymer set, so you can see exactly where it’s stamping.  I used Silver Foil paper with the “Joy” framelit that’s found in the Wonderful Wreath Framelits set.  The little stars on top of each tree are from the Confetti Stars Punch.  Both the stars and the “Joy” were attached using our Multi-purpose “Green” Glue.

Have them on hand

I have boxes of cards that I have created on hand so when I need one, I go to my huge stash of cards.  Earlier in the month I was in need of six birthday cards for kids at once, and as I was perusing through my stash I found no cards that were really appropriate for kids.  I decided it was a good idea to have a few on hand so I created this simple fun card.

The balloons are made using the 2″ Circle Punch and the Owl Builder Punch.

I cut the owl in half and the only part of the owl that is actually visible on the balloon is one of the owls feet.  It the photo I changed the owl to yellow just so you could see it better.  The foot becomes the part of the balloon that you would blow into and the part where you’d tie the string.  I used Bakers Twine for the balloon strings and just tied it around each balloon.  The balloons are popped up on the card with Dimensionals and the strings are all secured on the card with a glue dot.  So get out your scraps and cut out a few balloon parts and get some cards done quickly to have on hand because you certainly don’t want to disappoint the little ones in your life by not having a card ready for them on their special day.
