One of the first things I check out when the new catalog comes out is the Big Shot items.  We have some great dies and Framelits and embossing folders to choose from this time around.  One of the new items is the Hamburger Box die.  I used Blackberry Bliss card stock and embellished the box with Hello Honey card stock and ribbon as well as the Moonlight Designer Series Paper Pack and the “Num-Num” stamp set.  This box is the perfect size for packaging up a few cookies or other little surprises. 

 

Todays card features some new washi tape called Beach House as well as new designer paper called Flashback.  I’m loving the Geometric shapes found in both these products.  With a less “frilly looking” greeting this could definitely be a card for a guy.



 

As part of the new catalog preorder, demonstrators could order a limit of 2 hostess stamp sets.  I knew right away, I had to have “Nuts about You.”  If you haven’t noticed it yet, check out the adorable sample featured on page 239 of the annual catalog.  For my card I used the Baked Brown Sugar and Cantaloupe Crisp markers on the tree.  The designer paper is Lullaby and it’s where I pulled this color combination together.  The little hexagon that the words are stamped on are the punched out pieces from the Hexagon Hive Framelit.
