Etch-a-sketch card

I was flipping through Pinterest the other day and was inspired by an

Etch-a-sketch card I saw there.  Using my Paper trimmer, I cut out a rectangle from the front of my card and sponged around the edges of that opening (for depth).  Next I stamped the images on Smoky Slate card stock and attached it t the inside of the card front with Dimensionals.  1″ circles sponged with Smoky Slate ink were popped up with Dimensionals on the front and just like that the card was complete.

This card makes me happy as it reminds me of one of my favorite toys when I was young.

To Recreate This Card You’ll Need:

Hello Honey!

Hello Honey!  Don’t you just love that name?  It’s the final new In Color as I’ve already featured the other four In Colors earlier this week.  We can start enjoying June 2nd when the new Big Catalog goes live.

Hello Honey (shown in the center) is deeper than So Saffron (on the right) and more brown than Crushed Curry (on the left).  And best of all, it doesn’t have that green color to it like Summer Star Fruit did, it’s a pretty color that looks like warm honey…it’s yummy.

So now you’ve met them all…all the In Colors that is.  I know these are colors we’ll be seeing in the stores I clothing and home design, so why not keep it trendy and use these colors in our paper crafting as well.

Mossy Meadow

I’m very excited about todays feature In Color.  It’s called Mossy Meadow and it’s a shade of green I’ve been wanting for a long time.   It’s one of the new In Colors that we can start enjoying June 2nd when the new Big Catalog goes live.

Mossy Meadow (shown in the center) is deeper than Garden Green (on the left) and more Pine Tree colored than Always Artichoke (on the right).

Check back tomorrow when you’ll meet Hello Honey!
