Gallery Blooms Fun Fold Cards

The 5th project from my Stamp, Crop & Cruise Retreat to Alaska was a set of Fun Fold cards featuring the Gallery Blooms stamp set and the Woven Textures Designer Series Paper.  Each of the four cards featured a different fun fold.

The images from the Gallery Bloom were stamped with Memento Ink and colored in with Colored Pencils, then blended with the water painters.  The sentiments came from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set.

The first card is a 3-panel card cut on the diagonal with a different image on each panel.

The beautiful Woven Textures DSP adds so much visual texture to the cards.

The second card is a double tri-panel card.

The third card has an inter-locking flap.

Each card is embellished with the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems which all my guests received in their embellishments box that was packed in their craft box.

The forth and final card in this set  was created in portrait landscape orientation, while the other three cards were all in portrait orientation.

This fun fold is a great way to use up the 12’x 12″ designer Paper because the woven basket print measures 12″ x 4″

Poppin’ By Cards

Today I’m sharing the 4th class project from my Stamp, Crop & Cruise Retreat to Alaska. This set of four cards features the Poppin’ By stamp set and coordinating Poppin’ By Dies as well as the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper.

It’s hard to tell from the photos but each of the little “popcorn buckets and popcorn pieces” were attached to the card with plastic springs called Wobbles that I ordered from Amazon.  Here’s the link to order them if you are interested: Wobbles

Each card started with a Poppy Parade card base with a layer of Basic Black and Basic White on the front.

The inside of each card had a layer of Basic White with a row of “popcorn” stamped along the lower edge in Daffodil Delight ink and a sentiment stamped in Memento ink.  A strip of Basic Black along the lower edge gave a nice “pop” to the card.

The “popcorn bucket guy” was stamped twice; once in Poppy Parade and once in Daffodil Delight.  Both pieces were die-cut using the Poppin’ By Dies and then the Poppy Parade piece was fussy cut to get rid of the red popcorn.   This was then adhered to the Daffodil Delight piece.

The Popcorn” pieces were sponges along the outer edges with Daffodil Delight and a Sponge Dauber, then attached to the inside of the card.

The Floral Delight DSP coordinated with these cards really well and added some visual texture.  Each card was embellished with a few of the Muted Pallett Dots.

What a fun and simple look for the inside of the card.

The little “movie film” piece was die-cut using the Poppin’ By Dies also.  Isn’t that just so cute?

More Messages Cards

Here’s another class project from our Stamp, Crop & Cruise to Alaska.  This fun card set features the More Messages stamp set and coordinating More Messages Die.

Stampin' Up! More Messages Bundle, Everyday Happiness DSP, Stampin' Studio

The More Messages stamp set is one large stamp with 19 sentiments and the More Messages Die is one large die that die-cuts all 19 sentiments with just one pass through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine!  How efficient is that?!?

We used the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper paired with Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Basic White card stock.  Each Basic White piece was embossed with the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder and a few of the Faceted Gems Trio were added to the cards.
