Downline Team Meeting

Yesterday was so much fun!  We had our team meeting at Pizza Hut where we shared business and stamping ideas.  We talked about upcoming demonstrator events planned by Stampin’ Up! and by us.

If you’ve ever even considered for a minute that you’d like a discount on all your stamping supplies and would like to have fun with a great bunch of demonstrators, let me know, I’d love to talk to you  (no pressure) about how much fun it is to be part of our group.

We also had some make & takes.  This time we featured the stamp set Another Great Year and used the current In Colors of Baked Brown Sugar, and Cantaloupe Crisp.

Awesome Ribbon Holder

Sorry, but I have to brag a little bit.  My brother-in-law Tony Murwin (Peggy’s husband) made this awesome ribbon holder for me.  Peggy and I were talking about our rolls of ribbon and how difficult it is to use ribbons when the spools are on a dowel (like most ribbon holders).  About a year and a half ago I switched to using rain gutter (the kind that goes on your house).  The rolls sat in the gutter, but the problem with that it is it took up a long bunch of space.  We discussed what we wanted in a ribbon holder and Tony designed and engineered the four rack solution.  Each little shelf is angled so the spools sit in there but can easily be removed without disturbing other rolls.  It takes up less than 15″ of space and hold all of the Stampin’ Up! ribbons, I love it!  Rumor has it he’ll be making and selling them, so if you’re interested let me know and I can find out the cost.

Tomorrow I’ll be posting some pictures from our Stampers Express group meeting which is being held today.  I’ve designed some fun cards I’ll be sharing with you.

Hello Springtime

It finally has been feeling like springtime this week in Wisconsin, so I thought I’d share a springtime flower with you.  I had seen a card similar to this not long ago, but when I went to look who to give credit to, I couldn’t find it again.

Look carefully and you’ll see the stem and leaves are made with the piercing tool.  I used part of the oval shape from The Occasions Paper-Piercing Pack and the leaves are made from an ornament in the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack.  How fun is that?
