Awesome Ribbon Holder

Sorry, but I have to brag a little bit.  My brother-in-law Tony Murwin (Peggy’s husband) made this awesome ribbon holder for me.  Peggy and I were talking about our rolls of ribbon and how difficult it is to use ribbons when the spools are on a dowel (like most ribbon holders).  About a year and a half ago I switched to using rain gutter (the kind that goes on your house).  The rolls sat in the gutter, but the problem with that it is it took up a long bunch of space.  We discussed what we wanted in a ribbon holder and Tony designed and engineered the four rack solution.  Each little shelf is angled so the spools sit in there but can easily be removed without disturbing other rolls.  It takes up less than 15″ of space and hold all of the Stampin’ Up! ribbons, I love it!  Rumor has it he’ll be making and selling them, so if you’re interested let me know and I can find out the cost.

Tomorrow I’ll be posting some pictures from our Stampers Express group meeting which is being held today.  I’ve designed some fun cards I’ll be sharing with you.

  1. Hi Tina! Great ribbon holder. I'd be interested in knowing his price. And are all the shelves the same height?

    • The top three shelves are the same height but the bottom shelf holds the bigger rolls of ribbon like the burlap trim. The entire unit is oak and is stained and finished. He's selling them for $75.
