“Hi” Flip Card

Can you believe it…a card with absolutely no stamping at all?  I know, it doesn’t seem right does it?  But this card is so cute, it doesn’t need it.  I used the Label Card Thinlits Die and cut the card stock 4 1/4″ x 6 to make it a shorter card than what the die is designed for.  The “Hi” is one of the Thinlits in the same package and then I used the flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and a Candy Dot
to dot the “I”

Flippin’ over Flip Cards

I held my monthly Big Shot class last week.  This month featured the Circle and Label Card Thinlits Dies.  These are the dies that make the really cool “Flip” Cards.  I found some really fun ways to use the dies, so I thought I’d share the cards we made over the next few posts.  To make the card you need a piece of card stock 5 1/2″ x 6″, then you run it through the die and Voila, it’s cut, scored and ready to flip.  From there I embellished the card with the Festive Flurries Bundle, Silver Glimmer Paper, Winter Frost DSP Pack and Frosted Finishes Embellishments.  Here’s what the inside of the card looks like.

If you don’t have these thinlits yet, you really need to get them, they are so easy to use.

Cute & Quick Note Card

Need a Cute & Quick card that you could mass produce?  This will fit the bill.  The Note Cards come 20 to a package and the matching envelopes are included.  I knew I wanted to line the envelope so I went straight for the Season of Style DSP Pack.  The coordinating Season of Style Washi Tape was attached directly on the note card for a real pop of color.  The pail of apples from the “Best of Autumn” stamp set got colored n with coordinating markers and my final embellishment was the Chevron pieces I attached over the Washi tape.  Can’t you see making up a package of four or five of these with the envelopes and putting them all in a cello bag tied up with ribbon?  What an awesome gift!
