Joyful Christmas

I had my monthly Stamp & Go Club last night.  This is one of the cards we made.  We all decided it’s a great card to mass produce as it’s super simple and the cutting can be done while watching TV.  Go ahead, I give you permission to get a head start on your Christmas cards.  Or better yet, sign up for my Christmas Card Class Series which starts Wednesday, August 28th.

I will hold a card class each month — August, September, October and November.  Each month I will have different cards for you to make.  Sign up for all four months or just a few, it’s up to you.    I will design four different cards for each class and you will make two of each card — 8 cards total each month.  Each month will include an embellishment item – DSP, ribbon, brad, etc. – you will use these on your cards and have leftovers of the embellishment to use at home for other projects.  If you participate all four months you’ll have 32 cards ready to go and you will receive a package of envelopes.

Class Fee: $20 – this month we’ll use the Season of Style DSP paper Stack (page 22 of the Holiday Catalog) and remember you take home all of the unused DSP.
Registration Deadline: Wednesday, August 14th
All you have to do is pop me an email that you want to register.

That’s right — half price subscription.  You can put on hold for a month or two if you need to or can cancel your subscription at any time.
If you don’t know about My Paper Pumpkin — it is a monthly
stamping kit that is mailed right to your home. You get all the supplies needed
to complete a fun project in about 30 minutes. Each month’s kit is different
and we never know what will be in your kit. Some months you get supplies to
make cards but there are other projects too. One month we got supplies to make
a mini album — there were enough supplies in the kit to actually make two
albums or if you are not into scrap booking — get a little creative and use the
pieces in the kit to make a bunch of great cards — all you have to do is add a
little of your own card stock. July’s kit was an adorable little birthday banner
— no little ones to use a birthday banner? Again with just a few extra
supplies of your own — “poof” you have some great cards to send out

The Best Things in Life

This is the fourth card we made at my Play with Clay class last week.  The clay flower on this card is colored with a marker.  There are so many ways to add color to the clay embellishments, I just love the stuff.   This saying from the  “Feel Goods” stamp set reminds me to stay focused on what’s important.  I love it.
