Stampin’ Up! has started something new.  Each Tuesday they will post a weekly deal in my online store.  The special deals will only be available for one week or while supplies last (which ever is first).  Each week they’ll have a few new specials, so you’ll want to be sure to check my store weekly to see what kind of deals are available.
 
  Here are some questions you may have about the deals:
 
Q: Is this a one day sale?
A: No, it lasts from Tuesday through the following Monday

Q: Will this be every week?
A: Yes!  This is just like your grocery store offering a weekly special.  Only our specials will begin on Tuesday and end on Monday.  So be sure to check back every Tuesday for the new special.
Q: Is it only for online orders?
A: No, you can contact me with your order as well.
Q: I can’t see the discounted price in your store.
A: When you click “Add to Bag”, the discounted price will be applied and will show up on your shopping bag.

Creating a box by thinking outside of the box

Previously I showed you a few items I made using the Thankful Tablescapes kit from the Holiday Catalog.  This time, I created a box to hold six cards and custom made envelopes made from the kit.  This makes a fantastic gift.  I took one of the napkin pouches from the kit and scored and cut it down a bit to make the box.  The embellishments come from the kit as well. 

Warm and Wonderful Fall

This time I used the Thankful Tablescapes Simply Created Kit to make a couple cards that remind me of those warm fall days.  The first one is reminiscent of a cozy quilt.  I did this by punching out DSP in the kit with the Postage Stamp Punch and attaching those pieces onto the Tangerine Tango card stock.  Next I ran it through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder (that’s what makes it look like a quilt.)
 
 
I love the Birch Paper on this card.  You guessed it, that comes in the kit too, lots of it on a roll and so does the Linen Thread.  You’re going to love it!
