Create, Inspire & Share. That’s Stampin” Up!s motto, and that’s exactly what this years convention has been about. The photos above are actually the card displays. Each panel is about 4 feet wide and 10 feet tall and has a ton of cards on them. They always display them by color so it’s really pretty to look at, but this year they took it one step further and spelled out Create, Inspire & Share.
I got a lot of great ideas for cards, scrapbook pages, 3-D items and so much more. Day 2 of convention started out with general session in the morning where they showed us some brand new items that will be available in the next few months. I can’t show them to you yet, but let me tell you, you’re going to “flip” over them…(that’s a hint).
We then had an expo in the afternoon where we could attend whatever we wanted to attend. I chose to see some great stamping demonstrations and another class on business tools. Both of those we really great.
We ate dinner at the Melting Pot before we headed to awards night. It was a great day getting to be recognized for my achievements for the past year. I was recognized for earning the Grand Vacation Cruise to the Western Caribbean next May, for having sales of over $30,000 this past year, for reaching level 2 in leadership promotions in my team and for reaching over $300,000 in career sales since I started with Stampin’ Up!
After the awards ceremony we had the 25th Anniversary Party. That was a lot of fun too, with yummy desserts, a great band that played 80’s music, and Arial Silk Acrobats. It was a jam packet day and it was wonderful. I can’t wait to share with you what happens on our third and final day.
