Throwing a party!

Yesterday I threw an Exclusive Extravaganza for those people who hosted a Stampin’ up! party with me in the past year.  I mailed the invitations a few weeks ago and kept with  backyard BBQ theme.

I served up grilled hamburgers, home made potato salad, chips and watermelon along with some raspberry lemonade.

I filled an old picnic basket with the paper plates and utensils.

For the utensil holders I used our Chevron bags and the “Fast Food Friends” stamp set.

My Paper Pumpkin Kit from June came to the rescue for my centerpieces.  I just stuck the pinwheels in foam that I put inside a bucket.

Pint Mason jars served as the beverage holders.  I simply cut a 2 1/2″ circle from Designer Series Paper for the lid insert and punched a hole to insert the straw.

Another old picnic basket worked great to hold the gifts each attendee received.

A take home packet of “do it yourself S’mores” tucked inside the new French Fry box, was their dessert.

I  used the new Hamburger Box as the packaging for a special gift they each received.

Each of my special guests received a certificate for $15 in FREE Stampin’ up! product of their choice.

It was a lot of fun to use the Stampin’ Up! product to coordinate the entire theme of my party.  We had a great time eating, visiting, and stamping (although the date didn’t work out for many of those that were invited).
I’d love for you to be on the list for next years Exclusive Extravaganza.  I bet you’re wondering what you have to do to be invited to attend?  Just hold a Stampin’ Up! party or book party with me and your name will go on the guest list.  That’s it … it’s that simple … Don’t miss out on next years event!

Check back in the next few days and I’ll share with you the cards we made at the party.
