Project Two for Fall Fest was this boxed gift set which featured the
“Under the Tree Tag a Bag Accessory Kit” and the “Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack”. The box which was made from Cherry Cobbler card stock and Window Sheets was accessorized with some Crumb Cake Bakers Twine which came from the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit. The kit is found on page 7 of the Holiday Catalog and comes with 10 tag, 10 frames, 5 Cherry Cobbler clothespins, 5 Early Espresso clothespins, Dimensionals and the Bakers Twine. One of our goals of Fall Fest was to show some unexpected ways of using product that might otherwise be overlooked.
Here you can see everything we created that went into the box. The box
held 5 regular sized cards with envelopes, 5 mini cards with envelopes, 5 gift tags and 10 clothespins.
More goodies: When we were finished with the Card & Tags in a Box, everyone received a bundle of the “extra” DSP that wasn’t used in the project.
After all this stamping, we took a break for lunch which was a home cooked meal fit for a cold autumn day.
We had Creamy Chicken sandwiches,
Cheesy Veggie Soup,
and Pumpkin Cupcakes.
In planning retreats, one of the most fun things for me is the decorations. We used the Festive Designer Kraft Paper Rolls (page 10) and cut them to size for placemats. I used some of our Burlap Ribbon as the napkin rings and then I tied and glued a few of the Autumn Wooden Elements (page 46) with Linen Thread around the Burlap. Each cupcake had a festive toothpick banner which said Grateful for you. Did you notice the little signs that were labeled with the food? I cut the heavy card board (that comes in some of our specialty paper packs to protect the paper) with the Top Notes Big Shot die. Then I painted them with Chalkboard Paint and wrote on them with Chalk Markers after the paint dried.
Well, that’s probably enough for me to share about Fall Fest for today. When you check back tomorrow I’ll show you what the stampers found at when they returned from lunch, as well as another project and some more surprises.
