This is one of the cards we made at Stamp & Go Club last night. For club I design 3 different card each month with at least one of the cards being a technique, a unique fold or Punch Art. This card happens to feature the Emboss Resist Technique.
I stamped the Corner Garden stamp with VersaMark on Whisper White card stock and heat embossed it with Whisper White Embossing Powder. Next I inked up a sponge dauber with Crushed Curry ink and rubbed it over the embossed image. The card stock becomes colored with the ink, but the embossed area resists the ink allowing the white image to show through the ink.
The sentiment comes from the Tin of Cards stamp set and the card is finished off with the “must Have” Basic Black 3/8″ satin ribbon and some tiny pearls I colored black with a Sharpie marker.
