As you know, the Holiday catalog is just around the corner. It premiers on September 1st, but as a demonstrator I was able to preorder all items in the catalog on September 4th. I have three boxes of goodies all sitting here in my stamp studio that I’ve not even opened yet, because I know if I do, I won’t get anything else done. I still wanted to share a little Christmas cheer with you though.
At convention, one of our make & take projects was the featured element I attached to this card. Let me point out some of the new product:
First off all the Santa is not a stamp, it’s actually some of our new “Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper” I fussy cut (you know… I cut it out by hand …no punch involved) the Santa from the designer paper and attached it to the Whisper White card stock with Dimensionals after I stamped the sentiment from “Cozy Christmas” stamp set in Old Olive. The Pool Party dotted paper and the Real Red diagonal stripe paper both come from the same Designer Series Paper – love it! Next, check out the Very Vanilla 1 1/4″ wide Subtle Stripes Satin Ribbon. I’m generally not a huge fan of the wide ribbon, but this stuff is delicious. It’s so delicate and doesn’t add bulk to the project. Finally, don’t you just love the Poinsettia button accent? The button comes from the “Home for Christmas Designer Buttons” which features 10 Real Red Poinsettias, 10 Hello Honey Stars, and 10 Mossy Meadow and White striped circle buttons.
