Warm Wishes

Oh how I love the Winter Wishes stamp set.  It was a set that really spoke to me when I first looked through the Holiday Catalog.

For the pair of skates I stamped the skate on the left first on Whisper White.  I also stamped it on a piece of sticky note and carefully cut around the entire image and attached the sticky skate directly on top of my first stamped skate image.  This is called masking.  I inked up the skate again and stamped it next to and a bit higher that the first image.  One I removed the sticky note skate(mask) I revealed two skates sitting side by side, one slightly covered up with the other.  The rest of the card was quick and easy.  The stripped paper is actually the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack.  The beautiful snow flakes are from Flurry of Wishes and punched out with the coordinating (and money saving) Snow Flurry Punch.
