Stampin’ Sisters Retreat: It’s all in the details

Okay, so remember yesterday when I showed you the four tiered cake I made for our Stampin’ Sisters retreat?  Here’s what the individual pieces looked like.  Not only did we fill each piece with candy, we also put a number 1 through 60 in the boxes.  This was for playing a game.

When their number was called they got to play the classic birthday game of dropping clothes pins in a jar.

When they got two clothes pins in the jar they won a prize!

Each prize was valued at approximately $15 and of course everyone was a winner.

One of our main goals at retreat is to surprise and delight those in attendance with special treats so…. We had a Candy Buffet which was a big hit.

We had little gifts for the “Newbies”.  That is people that had never attended Stampin’ Sisters Retreat before.  We had nine newbies this year and they each got this cute gum holder.

We had a gift of an explosion album for our “All Timers”.  That is those who have attended everyone of our Stampin’ Sisters Retreats.  We had 5 All Timers this year and their album included photos from our first retreat.  That sure brought back some fun memories.
