This whimsical Birthday card was created with a little bit of punch art and some faux stitching.
I used the 1″ Circle Punch to cut our 5 circles from the Wisteria Wonder paper found in the Subtles Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack. I attached these to the back side of a 1 1/4″ circle of Wisteria Wonder card stock to make the flower. I then added a 1″ circle of Whisper White which I stamped the sentiment from Honeycomb Hello and drew on some stitch makers with the Old Olive Stampin’ Write Marker. The stem of the flower is an image from the Hello Life stamp set. The image has a curly heart along with the squiggly line, but I thought the line really looked like a flower stem, so I covered up the heart with one of the leafs. I added a bit more “stitches” on the leaves and around the border of the card and finished it off with the bee from the Honeycomb Hello.
Hi Tina,
Has anyone reported to you that your blog doesn’t show any of your new posts on Bloglovin? I thought maybe you had stopped because the last post I see is March 3. I love to see your card ideas and each time I’ve tried to get to your site it only shows Mar 3 as newest post. I don’t like missing your posts, I save your ideas to a file, and I wonder if anyone else is having this happen.
I’ve sent question to Bloglovin, but they don’t anewer general questions very fast…if at all. Just thought you should know that your blog doesn’t turn up each day on my Bloglovin site. Maybe a question from actual Blog owner might help.
Say Hi to Dave..hope you both are doing well,
Sandy Anderson
Hi Sandy, I don’t know what Bloglovin is, so I’m not sure why my posts would show up there. You can however subscribe to my posts and that would send an email to you each day I post. Hope that helps.
