As promised I’ve got another punch art creation…it’s a mouse made with the Fox Builder Punch. You can view the chick made with the Fox Builder Punch HERE.
Today’s Color Palette
For the card itself I used Daffodil Delight and punched a few holes using the 1 1/4″ Circle Punch and then I sponges around each of these holes. The card base is cut 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″ with the front flap being 3 1/4″. I attached a strip of the Daffodil Delight Designer Series Paper to the inside of the card. The banner that goes across the front of the card is from the A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack – I love those little hearts! Okay now, onto the mouse himself. The head is the head from the Fox Builder Punch with the ears trimmed off and the head is turned upside down. I stamped the eyes with the image from the Foxy Friends stamp set and attached the Blushing Bride nose (also from the Fox Builder Punch). Other pieces I used from the Fox Builder Punch are the body, the tail which I trimmed to make it thinner, and also two of the “tufts” which I used for his hands by trimming the points off. The ears are punched from the 3/4″ Circle Punch and the 1/2″ Circle Punch. All of the punched pieces have been sponged along the outside edges to make it have a little more definition. The tiny banner was stamped with “hello” from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and punched out with the Classic Label Punch. By inserting the banner back into the Classic Banner Punch I was able to snip off each end of the banner. Tomorrow I’ll be sharing an adorable Teddy Bear made from the Fox Builder Punch.
