Last night Dave and I hosted a dinner for a group of my closest girlfriends that I graduated with. Since we graduated from high school in 1980 we have dubbed ourselves “The 80’s Ladies”. I made this simple napkin ring with the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies and attached the pine boughs and pine cone to the Real Red Stitched Edge Ribbon with mini glue dots. I love how something so simple can be so festive.
It was wonderful to share time together and catch up and also a chance for Dave and I to show off our newly remodeled first floor. Unlike what you see on the TV shows where they can do it all in an hour, our remodel started in July and ended the night before Thanksgiving. We did 95% of the work ourselves and saved a ton of money. You can check it out in the photos below.
Here’s our new living room…
our new dining room…
our new kitchen…
and our new 3 season porch. I must say, I’m thrilled with how things turned out and I’m so glad it’s done!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Wow Tina, so beautiful, every room. Are you for hire? lol
Thanks Lynn. We’re thrilled with how it turned out but tired of remodeling. Our next project will be our main bathroom, but we’re taking a break for quite a while before we tackle that.
