Do you have a country lover with a birthday coming up soon? If so, you may want to make a Country Livin’ Birthday Card like this one. The focal point is the worn country boots from the Country Livin’ stamp set which I stamped in Early Espresso and colored them in a bit with a Blender Pen and more ink. A few layers created with the Layering Squares Framelits really help to accentuate the boots. Notice the texture I added to the Kraft card stock with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and the Burlap Ribbon tied in a knot.
Because I used a unique fold, I decided to keep the inside very simple and used a sentiment from the Watercolor Words stamp set. The fold is called a Z Fold and all you need to do for this fold is score the card stock at the measurements listed below. Then fold the card in half and then fold on the other score line folding it back upon itself.
Ready, Set, Cut
Island Indigo: 4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ and 8 1/4″
2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″
Kraft : 4″ x 5 1/4″
