When I was little, we had to ask permission to ride our bikes and then we were then told how many times we could ride to the corner and back. Generally it was two or three times. Then the big question for me was, did I want to take all three trips to the corner and back all at once, or did I want to break them up and scatter them throughout the day. These days I kind of feel like that with the walking I’m required to do after my back surgery 2 weeks ago. Because of where we live, there aren’t a variety of options in my walking path, and so much of my walking is down to the corner and back (to the tune of 15-20 times a day)…and no I do not do them all at once, I spread them out throughout the day, but each time I get to the corner and turn back around I am certainly reminded of summers many, many years ago!
This card reminds me very much of my youth. I love the Bike Ride stamp set and the Build a Bike Framelits used on this card (and sold in a bundle at a 10% savings). The Bike Ride stamp set has so many mix and match parts (24 to be exact) so you can add a basket and tassels and really just decorate your bike how ever you’d like. The set of 15 pieces in the Build a Bike Framelits make this bundle so much fun. It’s a little hard to see in the photo, but the wheels are die cut separately from the bike which gives it more dimension.
And how about the color combination on Tempting Turquoise, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black and Whisper White…don’t you love how it pops!?
