Southern Serenade Missing Middle Card

Today’s card is another Sneak Peek of a brand new stamp set that will appear in the Occasions catalog that starts January 3rd.  The stamp set is called Southern Serenade and this is one of the cards I featured when I did a stamping presentation at Stampin’ Up!’s convention earlier this month.

If you’ve been following my blog for a while now, you know that I love fun fold cards and I love texture, so this card is certainly right up my alley.  I call this card  a “Missing Middle” fold because the middle is missing!  I’ve posted the video with all of the details on putting the card together (just scroll down a bit) but I thought you’d like the dimensions for creating your own Missing Middle card, so here goes:

Measurements

  • Daffodil Delight:  5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and another piece 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″
  • Basic Black: 5-1/4″ x 4″ and another piece 3-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
  • Whisper White: 5″ x 3-3/4″ and another piece 3-1/4″ x 2-1/4″

  • Cardstock:  Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Whisper White
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Big Shot, Garden Trellis Embossing Folder
