Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat: Truly Tailored Masculine Card Set

I’ve been asked, why do we do what we do for the Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat and the answer is quite simple.  We love what we do and we love to share it with others.  Over the years Peggy and I have attended numerous Stampin’ Up! events including Convention, On Stage, Leadership Conference, Regionals, Founders Circle, and the amazing Incentive Trips to exotic places around the world.  We have taken some of the best parts of all of these events and wrapped them into our retreat.  On all of the Incentive Trips, each evening when we’d return to our rooms, we’d find a gift on our beds waiting for us….

…so, with that in mind, instead of our guests finding a gift on their bed each night, we had a gift waiting for them at their tables each morning.  Saturday’s special gift was an insulated mug with our Stampin’ Sister’s logo on it.  These were a big hit because they’ll keep things hot or cold for 8 hours!

Also, like at all Stampin’ Up! events, we had a card swap for those that chose to participate.  We had a total of 70 stampers participate in the swap and card contest.  The cards were amazing this year.  Here you can see the cards that won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in our card contest.

Cyndi won the Hello Friend Heat Embossing Project Kit, Cheri won the Lots of Happy Card Kit and Wendy won the Perennial Birthday Project Kit.

 At all Stampin’ Up! events, there is stamping, so onto project 2 which we made first thing Saturday morning.

Truly Tailored Card

For this project we used the True Gentleman Suite of products.  These cards were a welcome addition to everyone’s card stash as masculine cards are something many stampers struggle with and these cards are super quick and easy.  As an added gift, everyone received a roll of the Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon.
