The final project (project 9) of our Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat was this fun flip page scrapbook. It features the Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper and it’s perfect for anyone, because everyone has a birthday, right?
This flip book was created with 4 pieces of cardstock each cut 4-1/4″ x 11″. The Pool Party piece was scored at 2″, Berry Burst at 3″, Lemon Lime Twist at 4″ and Bermuda Bay at 5″. Then all of the pieces were folded on the score lines and stacked up on inside of the other.
Next, we punched 2 holes through all of the layers and threaded them together with Bakers twine. Next we decorated each page.
The outside cover had the Celebrate die cut from the Celebrate You Thinlits (Level 2 Sale-a-bration item)
Next, we used the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set to embellish the pages. Each page also had a 1/2″ strip of Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper along the side.
The Circle Tab Punch makes for great tabs for flipping through the album.
The Basic Black “mat” is the perfect place to attach photographs.
There’s lot’s of room for journalling too.
Did you notice how the page are getting bigger the farther into the album you get?
And Here’s the final page of the flip album.
With all of the pieces cut and scored for the retreat participants, this album went together in less than 45 minutes! How’s that for fast?
So over the past 2 weeks, I’ve shared the theme decor, games, food, and projects from our Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat. Tomorrow, I’ll be sharing just a few other details and then we’re off to other stamping cards and projects.
I am in absolute AWE of what you and your sister do to put this retreat on! It must be a TREMENDOUS amount of work; I can’t imagine. I am a small-time, long-term SU! demo in Kentucky admiring all of the projects you have done. Where are you located? I would really enjoy coming to your event; it sounds like your participants are well-pampered. Wish I could be one of them! You two are amazing! I’ll stop gushing now, LOL.
You are just the sweetest Luralyn. There is a ton of hard work that goes into this event, but it is so worth it! The retreats are my favorite part of my business. I am located in Wisconsin. Our Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat is held in Rockford Illinois every March. We have quite a following and it tends to sell out within 24 hours once we open up registration. Because of the popularity of my local retreats, I am taking my retreats on the road, or on the sea as the case my be. In January 2019 I will be hosting a new retreat on Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. I’m calling the retreat Stamp, Crop and Cruise and it will run very much like the Stampin’ Sister’s Retreat. I’ll be posting more information on this event soon.
Thanks for sharing and instructions. I will test it if you want. Good idea.
I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed this project. I’d love to see your finished project!
